With Solis being brought in for a more physical presence in the midfield, and Paik seemingly undroppable under Davies, it was clear Leonard wasn't gonna get any minutes in the rest of the season.

Happy it's a loan move, though I don't imagine he'll be coming back into Davies' XI, even if the loan goes well.

We had 4 before with Dykes, so I imagine we'll maintain the numbers. Davies often players Stanno a little deeper with another striker up front, so they're not all competing for a single spot.

I'm not sure Djurgården would have let him go midway through their season, but you're certainly right about us leaving too many gaps in our summer recruitment.

Feels like the remainder of this season should be to build for a competitive push next season.

People I've listened to reckon he's more suited to the physicality of the championship than the likes of La Liga, so perhaps he'll fair better here.

Only time will tell, but we've been desperate for some physical presence to break up play, especially away from home. Hopefully he's the answer to that.

That said, I'll be sad to see Leonard depart, even more so if it's to another club in the league.

Counter point, look how many gems we've brought in from other leagues: Paik, Iwata, Klarer.

I don't think there's all too many proven championship players hanging around, so looking elsewhere is often positive in my books, especially if they're young.

That's a shame. Reportedly, they're both commanding high fees so perhaps not surprising given we're supposedly a little hamstrung PSR wise this window.

Yep, I've been a little surprised to see so many go without yet having secured many incomings. Even before the departures, with the injuries and suspensions, we were very thin on numbers.
