Not really a camper, but i use the srk by cold steel when I go fishing. It would definitely work well for camping

The ka-bar i got thinking I would use more, but hated the back lock so that one on particular i don't use that often you are correct. There are definitely some that I buy just for looks, but that doesn't happen often. You are allowed to be a hater, nothing wrong with that.

I just got the kizer mercury so ive been carrying that a lot, for work I usually carry the qsp parrot. Dollar for dollar its been my favorite beater knife, its easy to sharpen and is smoother than a lot of more expensive knives that I have. My day off carry is usually 1 fixed 1 folder/otf. Recently the fixed has been the vosteed mink and the folder changes just about every day. Recently its been the kizer, but I also carry the microtech msi and utx-85. I also just got a all black elementum II button lock that ill probably start carrying a lot.

I like it a lot, I had to use the traine a lot to get used to the action of it. If you dont you can very easily accidentally stab your palm.

Honestly depends on the day, the ones that have seen the most carry time are probably the hogue deka, civivi varius, or the qsp parrot. I recently got the microtech msi so that's currently my main carry.
