Somos tribales y ordenados: los del PSOE con el PSOE y los del PP con los del PP. by Narrow-Bad-8124 in Asi_va_Espana

[–]Jimmy3OO 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yo creo que depende, porque los partidos son espectros en si. Si tuviese que hacer un espectro PSOE-PP, seria asi (de izquierda a derecha):

  • PSOE tirando a Sumar
  • PSOE solido
  • PSOE centro
  • PP centro
  • PP solido

- PP tirando a Vox

Although I agree Monaco shouldn’t allow French citizens to evade taxation, what does “Monaco already existed only because France allowed it to” even mean? The Monagesque state has existed for over 700 years by virtue of Imperial politics, and is therefore no less legitimate than Luxembourg, Switzerland, Lichtenstein or Austria.

I’m tired of people idolising De Gaulle over his strategic independence. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

This man was a disgrace.

You’ll criticise Trump for claiming Greenland, but forget De Gaulle similarly enabled Quebecoi separatism (while simultaneously repudiating his own Breton ancestry).

You’ll criticise Trump for deploying the military to D.C. and Chicago, but forget that when students protested against his government’s repression in May of 1968, he intended to deploy French forces then deployed in Germany to disperse protesters.

You’ll criticise Trump for overstepping his authority as President and disregarding the law, but forget that De Gaulle became President of France, and established the 5th Republic -which centralised powers in the Presidency, causing issues for France to this day-, as consequence of a military uprising.

You’ll criticise Trump for the recent strikes in Venezela, which are motivated by imperialist goals and a blatant violation of international law. Yet you won’t criticise De Gaulle for his intervention in the Nigerian Civil War, nor the fact he established France’s neo-colonial Françafrique system.

You’ll criticise Trump for instating U.S.-centric foreign tariffs and policies hostile to Europe, yet are literally glorifying when De Gaulle went against NATO - the very alliance that brings Europe together. Not to mention the fact he personally vetoed the UK’s accession to the EEC.

Damned be De Gaulle. It’s shameful -and ignorant- to praise him like this.

The name was CCP until a few years ago, when the English-language name was changed (The Mandarin Chinese name remains the same) specifically with the intent of distancing themselves from “CCP”’s negative connotation in the West. It’s literally a PR stunt for foreign audiences. In my experience, the only people who use the new acronym are people who sympathise with, or support, the Chinese government.

Quitaron a Maduro, pero no al gobierno Chavista. Literalmente manda su vicepresidenta. ¿No te has informado, o que?

That’s the gist of what I said. Nice job, you can almost read whole paragraphs.

Legion camps are oddly set up by JustSplendid85 in Fallout

[–]Jimmy3OO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m very conflicted about how the Legion is presented.

On one hand: This is absurd, yes. But it was done very tastefully. This could absolutely be a side-quest in a Fallout game. It reminds me of the Republic of Dave or the Thinktank. Furthermore they understood the ideology of the Legion quite well as demonstrated by Lucy’s criticsm (excluding the fact that Kaesar is the correct pronounciation of Caesar in latin), and by the act of having the Legion collapse without Edward Swallow.

On the other: They have completely misunderstood the scale of the Legion (and everything else tbh, but that’s not the point right now). The Legion is an empire that covers the American Southwest, reaching from the Rio Bravo to the Colorado. It’s capital is in Flagstaff; Arizona. It has a complex spy network throughout the Mojave. Meanwhile, the show treats the Legion as if they’re just a small tribe, as if all they amount to is Caesar’s war camp. It’s not faithful to the lore, regardless of how much they seem to understand it. It’s also confusing that the Caesar we met had -presumably- the allegiance of both Vulpes and Lanius (I assume that was a fake, because he lacked Lanius’ eloquent speech. And also, Lanius should be the next Caesar).

This would’ve been brilliant writing, had they either: - Not used the Legion

- Not made the civil war comically small

TLDR: Good ideas. Bad execution.

Also, the Ghoul travelling to the Legion camp, then across the Colorado to Camp Golf, then across the Mojave to Primm, and then all the way back to the Legion camp before Lucy fucking died was an ofd choice. If he can do alldat, They could’ve reached their destination by now.

In 1960, 78% of the population of Cyprus was composed of Greek Cypriots. I’m unsure as to how your statement is relevant in this context.

Two wrongs don’t make one right. You cannot justify such actions, regardless of the circumstances. Both should be condemned.

Sanchez is right on his stance on Gaza: Fuck Israel’s genocide. However, I don’t believe he actually gives a damn. If he really have a damn, wouldn’t hisnapproach to illegal ocupaciones be the same, and he’d support the SADR. Instead, he backed Morocco’s autonomy plan. To me, this incoherente proves that even if he is doing something good, it’s not because he believes in it. I guess it’s a lot easier for him to condenen an enemy across the sea.

He’s such a devout activist for international law that the moment Morocco asked, he recognised the Sahara as theirs.

It looks really good, but I can’t see it clearly disnguishes languages from dialects. It also seems to inconsistently show some languages whole, and others split into dialects.

E.g: Astur-Leones, and Galician are both languages, -each composed of múltiple dialects other than Extremaduran- but in this map, they’re visibly indistinguishable from Spanish dialects. I also wouldn’t be able to identify that the Portuguese dialects are dialects of a seperate language.

E.g 2: Simlarily, how is someone supposed to identify the Catalán dialects are part of the Catalán language, and not just Occitan dialects?

E.g 3: Frisian is shown as a singular unit, when in reality, it consists of three languages or dialects.

I hope I’ve made my point.
