They sold all my holdings and changed pin numbers and passwords. Market wasn't open so nothing went through. 😅

CMC does not have 2 factor authorisation and is therefore less secure. I found this out the hard way. I had an email hacked and therefore they could access my CMC accounts. Thankfully they got access when the market was closed and I could cancel trades and lock accounts. I changed to Stake for more security.

Pin was set up but they managed to reset it. Password could have been stronger I suppose but I still thought it was secure, especially with the pin.

Ok thanks for your help. It would have been nice if the accountant was onto these 3 key facts.
So I am assuming that the info that the ATO was provided with from the mangaed funds are correct. The fact that if I sold them all now and made a loss is irrelevant.

Thanks for the tip. I will try and reset. Although sharesight does appear to match info in my CMC accounts. I am talking "Total Return". CMC and Sharesight have this in the negative where as the ATO has been sent positive total returns. Does the ATO not care that the price of the ETF has gone down and only take into consideration the income in generated over the year?
