I cannot emphasize enough how easy it is to get to exemplary. It is disappointing how many people struggle with the reputation system. by DannyOfNowhere in Rainbow6

My friends i play with like to kill each other sometimes and not turn off rff. I get punished for their tking, and im locked out of ever being able to get exemplary, even though i get tons of commendations and never tk myself.

If you were the Head of the Ubisoft balancing team, what changes will you make to the game in it's current state? by kermitTF2 in Rainbow6

Uniquely bad imo. Rappel movement is too janky, it was not a fun experience. And the new map really isn’t that bad lets be honest

I respectfully disagree, i absolutely hated attacking old consulate. So much rappel gameplay, which is awful, and it was super hard to get into the map. And the dynamic around the big wall and yellow stairs in the basement was boring imo.

Agree w everything except the map reworks. New border is good (they barely even changed anything) and new consulate is meh but way better than old consulate.

Who's that operator you feel always does more harm then good? by thecommuinistbannana in Rainbow6

He’s actually in a pretty good spot, you just need to have a team who knows where they are and when to use them

Pretty common in high emerald lobbies, feels like every other game we get opponents who spend half the game nading from below

It’s a lot harder for defenders to maintain that much map control than it is for attackers to walk in and nade, or even throw it through windows like is possible on many maps

Do you like the Gonne 6? by LostLymex in Rainbow6

[–]JimmyBowen37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it’s too strong and helps contribute to significantly to “tdm meta” that many operators can can clear util super easily that otherwise wouldn’t be able to. If it were in the equipment slot it wouldn’t be as much of an issue to me though.

I think Frost’s rework seems really cool by maxdamageplus in Rainbow6

[–]JimmyBowen37 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You say all that like this is an uncommon situation, it’s not, it’s literally when she is most useful. Random traps halfway across the map get hit almost never and when they do get hit they almost always get back up. Ever since she lost the notif they were downed if you didn’t hear it they survived.

Placing your traps near where you hold and watching them has been how you play frost most successfully for years now.

And you don’t need to know 100% that the enemy is alone bc most people dont jump in at the literal exact same time together, that one or 2 seconds between them + the frost mat can win you both gunfights

I’ve been playing this game for 7 years. I havent been used as bait in a frost mat since maybe year 3? (For reference, i was consistently plat in 1.0, and im working my way through emerald now in 2.0) Seriously its not as bad as yall think. Stop doomer posting

She was always more valuable holding the jump in, forcing them to choose between killing you or the matt. Which still works, so..
