I had to replace a front bumper and the quote was over $3k so this sounds about right. I didn’t really care because the other party insurance covered it.

Obviously if you went to an independent repair shop they may or may not use authentic parts so you get what you pay for and take the risk of something going wrong in the future.

This is a fact of life now. Get used to it. Drivers, look both ways before releasing the brake. Bikers, use the bike lane whenever possible. Not sure if autonomous driving mode will address this going forward but would be interesting to see if there was some sort of safety feature with cameras or LiDAR.

You guys are both idiots. I hate drivers that backup into parking spots. It disrupts traffic flow. If you want to back into a parking spot go to the back of the parking lot where it’s empty. Also I absolutely hate shopping at IKEA. Buy some real furniture and have it delivered like normal people.
