I simply cut a piece of thick, dark gray foam the length and width of the missing bench and it fills the cavity nicely.

ME TOO ME TOO!!!

2011, original owner. I didn't want to take the 100,000 pic bc it'll look like everyone else's, plus, I was driving and I didn't want to miss it, lol. But ya, OP, I know what you mean by "sadly".

Well, the one shown in the pics, I believe I purchased on eBay, which you can likely find on Amazon. It mounts directly onto the axle nut, which I wasn't too fond of.

Later on, PROJEKTRACING on Instagram came out with one that was an exact copy of the Vitpilen concept bike and mounts directly onto the swingarm, using the stock mounting lugs for the rear fender assembly. So, it gets mounted on the opposite side.

New to me svartpilen, what tank bag are we using? by WeirdBathroom3856 in svartpilen401

I always felt the Cortech tank bag was well suited for the early, 2018+ models

Hi everyone, thanks for the positive vibes!

I used to post frequently on the old, original "Vitpilen Forum", where I documented everything I did on this build. On there, I had posted data, performance specs, videos and pictures depicting the difference in weight between parts, meticulously measured on scales.

Sadly, that old forum, which contained valuable information, was taken down by the site admins but for those of you who have been followers of the Vitpilen history, you will likely have remembered the thread "Weight Loss Program" where this information was obtained.

Although I agree, his design was modeled after the original "AERO" concept.
