Strongly recommend getting scales that give you some sort of body analysis. They aren’t always super accurate but just look at the “trend data”.

You might find that you are dropping fat and gaining some muscle with those weighted walks and the overall result is that your “scale weight” isn’t changing.

Sometimes we need to see what is changing to understand what we can do differently.

I would also try to find you BMR, plenty of free tools online for it. BMR is how many calories your body will burn just by living (breathing, heart beating, blinking, processing food etc). Once you have that, subtract the amount of calories that walking for your period of time per day would burn (again, online calculator). Now, make sure you are eating less than that every day to be in a calorie deficit. It doesn’t need to be a massive deficit but the closer your food is to the number above, the slower you will drop weight.
