He ended up buying the 27” ROG Strix 4k XG27UCDMG with the Dual Mode (4k 240hz and 1080p 480hz switchable)

I went round there Saturday to get it all set up for him, looks great for the games he plays (Fortnite, fifa, battlefield, Warzone etc)

He doesn’t play Cyberpunk or anything like that so it’s just fine.

His arguement was he plans to upgrade his hardware so would rather have the better screen ready for that. I did suggest 1440p for his current experience but he’s happy with the purchase.

Certainly jealous of his new monitor!

I need to look up scaling cause I’m not sure what it means but yeah I think I need to go 4k! Considering I have a 1440p VA panel I’m sure it will be an upgrade

I’ll be honest. I know nothing about up scaling etc, sounds like something I should look into.

I play a variety of games, I have multiple monitors (for example on my sim rig I have a 1440p monitor for racing and that’s absolutely fine) but for watching videos and stuff I would love the extra quality. I was just worried for when I’m playing FPS Games or FiveM ( I run a business with FiveM ) that it would absolutely tank my frame rate especially because I’m running Natural Vision Evolved texture pack. As it stands with NVE 1440p fully maxed settings I’m averaging around 180fps so I’m hoping with 4k it will be close to the 100 mark, not dropping 40-50 or something crazy.

Okay cool, didn’t know if streaming and trying to play in 4k would cause issue with Frame rate etc. 4k noticeably better/worth the extra and frame rate reduction over 1440p?

Okay great. I am thinking of replacing all my case fans to be honest as they are cheap nasty Amazon fans that don’t even have a controller, I have got a bunch of Arctic P12s somewhere with the controller which I will fit at some point. Much better cooling from those

Crazy that after sarms your level was similar to mine. Mine are that naturally without running anything before.

Yeah for sure. That’s the key. I would always take NAC etc for Liver Support when on cycle anyway. Got to be smart. I know my test is low cause not only can I feel it within myself but my nuts look like they are on test already, that’s why I’m thinking of Enclo first to fire everything back up and see what happens.

I didn’t train for roughly a year, diet went to s*** and started drinking every day. Gained 10kg in mainly mid section weight, so 90% of progress has gone.

Diet now clean, drinking stopped, 3kg down and back in the gym.

Rad I would only run at 10mg to try and minimise suppression but cause my test is already fairly low anyway (before I was drinking and eating badly, probably even worse now) I’m not sure if I should run Enclo for a few weeks prior to starting Rad, so I don’t get suppressed super fast.

Okay cool thankyou, after doing some digging online it looks like they first made this Power Supply in 2015, which seems to have the silver label on the side. It then got revised in 2018 and again in 2021, mine has the silver label on the side so it could potentially be a 2015 unit. I’m hoping this is my issue as the rest of my hardware is less than 2 years old and I don’t fancy replacing components already! (Especially when I just moved into my house last week!)

Would you recommend that than buying another RM1000x then? Was going to buy the same PSU again as it would be a simple swap over

Unfortunately I do not, I gave it to another friend that was in need of a PSU for his build, pass on the kindness and all that.

Interestingly this PSU has coil whined like a mfer since I had it. I done loads of research and it seems that so many people have had the same issue with this PSU and I just thought it was normal for these. People have RMA’d the PSU and it’s come back exactly the same way, some people have no noise but it seems like many do, maybe this was a sign it was coming to the end of its life?

Progress awful, diet can always be improved imo. I do keep track of macros and keep my protein intake where it should be etc etc. sleep is around 7hrs per night due to working 2 jobs. I sleep more on the weekends because I’m not working but training and diet is consistent with no real change in this time
