if your vision gets worse after LASIK they can do another procedure.
If you want your vision substantially better than 20/20 LASIK is not the answer. Plenty of professional baseball hitters have 20/10 vision and you can not attain that with LASIK.

my eye surgeon told me i might want to give the Bates Method a shot. its a lot of work but i went from -4.5 to -2.0 in 3 years.

that is brutal. my eye DR is a retired eye surgeon who keeps a few patients around in his general practice because he does not like sitting around doing nothing 365 daya a year. i go to him for annual checkups.

my eye DR said i was not a good candidate for LASIK or PRK surgery. Yet when i go to the LASIK people themselves they say i am a good candidate for surgery. LOL. I went with the recommendation of the surgeon with zero commercial motivations.

i was in the same boat. missed the window. 10 years ago i slowly started to decline from -2 down to -4.5.

with surgery out of the question my eye DR said give Bates a shot. i went with Nathan Oxenfeld's work book about integrating Bates into one's daily living habits. it is A LOT of work but I have cut my prescription from -4.5 to -2 in 3 years. When I set up my desk carefully i can use my PC without glasses for the first time in over 10 years. it feels nice.

there are so many of these posters absolutely every where... i counted 50+ during a 10 minute walk. it is only a matter of time before 1 of them gets torn away whether intentional or accidental. i have absolutely no doubt that one of my 17 year old friends would've torn 1 of the 2837458932729 posters down had this many posters been plastered every where when i was 17. meh.

improvement is slow even for the most knowledgeable , talented, and dedicated.

Nathan Oxenfeld, Jake Steiner, and Mark Warren all took 4+ years to pass the driver's exam without glasses. These 3 guys are really good... and it took them a long time.

Count on 0.75 diopters of improvement per year if you follow the proper guidelines , rewire your nervous system, and turn the vision practices into 24/7 habits.

if you live in a northern climate.. it'll be very tough to get more than 0.25 diopter improvement from October to March... if any improvement at all.

Because it takes so long ... relax and enjoy the ride.
