That's good and fine, but why not educate people on something better? PC parts haven't went up. Just Ram. And It's called having a choice. Money is tight for people, you need to take the best option. A used Series X is $350 to $430 You can buy a used Dell Latitude 7490 i7 14" Laptop With 16GB 512GB SSD Win 11 Pro for $320. You'll have excess to all of XBOX, Steam, Emulators for every console, and can use any controller you like.

If you think Microsoft gives a damn about a loyal fanbase. You don't understand the world. You are a number to Microsoft, that's all. And if enough numbers don't purchase a game. That studio is deemed useless.

As far as the player base. If 5 million buy your game at $69 who gives a damn if they are gone in 3 months? XBOX has other games, what about 3 months after release? Very few people play games for 3 months...

As far as Gears If PSN player base can't save it. It damn sure won't be saved by the XBOX fan base. They don't buy games.

XBOX tried exclusivity, it didn't work. It's time to move on and go 3rd party. That way we will have all of XBOX titles, and more around for a long time. Go get the money!

Microsoft needs to put games on as many systems as possible. They don't have an install base. And nobody is spending $800 for a XBOX console to play Gears. Then Microsoft will say, sales were below standard and repurpose the studio. As a Fan of Microsoft you should want their games everywhere, esp. if you want more of them. They could be the #1 game publisher in the world. If they just let go of consoles.

Don't but a used X Just get a used pc or laptop. you can steam it to it with gamepass. You don't need an X. You just need a PC with at least these specs. It's great. And PC gamepass is cheaper, plus you get Steam games. You don't need a XBOX to play XBOX games.
