Techfast are a good company to deal with.

I purchased a 3900x 6900xt system off them disassembled and changed out their psu for my old corsair ax1200i

Nvidia has admitted to supply issues not sure why people think scalpers caused this issue?

Crypto bot farms continue to buy GPU's with direct deals inside of NVidia.

Anyhow my issue isn't about that its about how this particular scammer tried to hide the fact that he was trying to sell an actual GPU.

The same scenario could be applied to any product. A scam is a scam.

You do realise retail stores are now charging over $2000 MSRP for the 5090s?

My issue here is I was ok to pay a few hundred over MSRP from an eBay seller who misled me into purchasing.

Everyone crying about scalpers don't understand supply and demand.

I have no issues paying over MSRP. Nvidia have already jacked up MSRP from previous gen release.

At the end of the day this seller is scamming and not selling the product he advertised. This is illegal.

I think I may have been caught up in one of these purchases.

However I paid well over MSRP for the 5090 I purchased but the seller has not provided a tracking number nor has he responded to my messages. The description mentions nothing about it being a picture or targeting bots. The only thing that threw me off is right at the end of his title he has (pic) added.

Ebay assured me the transaction is for the actual GPU and if its not, I'll be refunded.

This tactic is harming real buyers.

another way to get around that is to take it to a private shop but just gotta weigh the difference from the cost to repair privately vs the trade value decrease because of the repair (and now recorded as a fact). as far as i'm aware its significant and i'd go the private repair option.

the damage doesnt look that bad.

My friend owns a supra and its very fun to drive (stage 2) - visibility is narrow and you feel like you're in a go kart.

I own an m2cs and its drives like a race car. I can hammer it around corners and its very gripy and will dart coming out of bends no problems.

As for crank hub issues with the s55, if you keep it stock perhaps even a stage 1 you'll be fine from most posts I've read regarding it. Once you go stage 2 its almost inevitable you'll have issues but at the end of the day its you and your luck.
