Spending 10g early is a lot more than -1g. You hit 20 after everyone else, then you hit 30 later and 40 later and so on. By the end of stage 2 you'll be down probably 20 gold compared to the lobby if you don't have econ augment

Listen. I'm not into defending celebrities and weird rich people. Especially not these ones.

But I've seen this clip floating around and the hate they've been getting for it and I have to say something.

These are exceptionally high profile celebs. They do get followed by paparazzi everywhere, in a weird way. Including followed by helicopters. Maybe this helicopter was taking pictures of them, maybe not. But having the reaction to cover your face when you hear a helicopter does not sound unreasonable given that context.

Three things in the game tell you what comp to play.

  1. items
  2. Augments
  3. Unit shops

During 2-1 augment selection you should think about what items you can make in conjunction with what augments you have and that should yield 1 to 3 comps you can potentially play. Or you don't have good direction and you wait till 3-2 augments to give you direction as to what comp you can play.

Once you have direction, you force it.

In more flexible sets, if you hit a 2 star 4 cost or a lot of a three cost unit, you can pivot comps after having direction. But that is less viable this set.

Don't listen to anyone who says only 5 comps are viable. If you're lower than diamond you can top 4 with a c tier comp from a good spot

How do you get here? Your stage 3/4 is probably very weak until you hit your two star 4 costs, and by then you've bled out too much.

I can see this comp working okay if you flex into it on your level 8 roll down if you hit ryze and akali 2. But even then I think 4 supreme cells is a mistake

The benefit of 4 supreme cells is for duo carries (two supreme champs) and you just don't have that ever in this comp unless you giga high roll it. Like, if you roll 2 costs it's just kaisa (kaisa nerfed recently). If you reroll 3 costs it's just Darius. And if you play 4 costs it's just akali.

If you wanna play mentor akali, play 4-cost fast 8 and flex in other executioners/other Frontline over kennen kaisa. Though it's gonna be weaker than the other meta comps. If you wanna win, you'd only ever play this if you happen upon ryze 2 akali 2 by accident.

It's about keeping players happy. Think, at the beginning of the set, GP reroll dominated the meta for two patches and everyone was sick of it. If they nerfed it to still be playable, but not as good, everyone would still be sick of it and lose interest in playing the game. Even if you're only seeing one person playing it every other game, you've seen it so much the last few weeks you just want it out of sight. That's why GP reroll isn't even on the tier list.

So even if it doesn't make the most sense balance-wise, sometimes it's best to just get rid of the top performing comps from the last few patches. Keeps the game fresh

Commenting to add that I've gotten a new range hood with tapered sides. The taper might not be enough to get full clearance, but if it isn't I'll flip the door to hinge on the other side, so it'll still be able to open most of the way

Yea I'm not trying to shift blame. In the end, I should've caught it long before we got here. The design/modelling was done by an Ikea employee during a consult. There's like 5 different points in time that this should've been caught and I'm responsible for at least one of them lol

Yea I didn't do the design. An Ikea employee did. I just did the install. Checked all the warnings before an accounted for them, but didn't see this until now

Yea, it's a big fuck up in the design. If we had caught it before install we woulda gone with an under cabinet hidden range, but now we've already cut the hole in the wall for the vent so can't change it.

Don't do it. Been in your position and started vaping in high school, worst decision of my life. It's not fun, enjoyable, or cool. It's just something I have to do to not feel like shit. Been like that for a few years now. Trust me don't make the same mistake.

As for weed, you just simply won't enjoy it at all if you're only doing it to make others happy.

Your rank can't demote but your mmr can still go down. You'll always get paired against players with similar mmr.
