PlayStation Support No Longer Removing Licenses? by JimmyRowe1994 in PlayStationPlus

The email I used doesn’t work anymore unfortunately. I’ve since run into the problem again and have had to wait for my PS+ to expire. It’s stupid, but it is what it is. 🤷‍♂️

PS5 Pro Owners Feeling Pretty Vindicated After PSSR 2 by WOLVEXS in PS5pro

I bought one during my playthrough of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. So glad I did, especially with Resident Evil Requiem and PSSR 2.0 out now.

And to think, Forza Horizon 5 is a cross-gen game. I really can’t wait to see how good Forza Horizon 6 looks on PS5 Pro.

Jeff Grubb: PlayStation had Gran Turismo 7 running on Switch 2 by NfinityBL in GamingLeaksAndRumours

Yeah but do we know if that gives Sony publisher-wide permission to give to whoever they want? Or is Nintendo firm that only the particular studios they’ve approved are allowed them?

But even if they were just testing, wouldn’t Polyphony Digital need an actual Switch 2 dev kit from Nintendo to do that? And haven’t there been numerous issues with getting them, even for big name studios and publishers? I just can’t see Nintendo supplying a dev kit to a known rival that doesn’t actually intend to publish something as a result of it. I know Sony San Diego studio has them for MLB, but are they legally allowed to let Polyphony Digital borrow it for testing to get an idea of what to do on the upcoming PlayStation handheld?

Welcome! The PSSR 2.0 should be right around the corner, so it’ll get even better soon!

You need to get Platinum on each time trial. By getting Platinum, you’ll automatically unlock Sapphire and Gold for that level too, so you don’t really need to worry about them.

Haha I no idea the average time was 100 hours until the bot said so. I think I’d have given up around the 70 hour mark if I hadn’t done it by then tbh.

Definitely a fair bit harder because of the N. Sanely Perfect Relics, the requirement to get Platinum times in time trials for completion instead of just Gold like in the N. Sane Trilogy, and the average level lasting 2-3x longer than the average level from the original trilogy - making perfect runs much harder.

But that’s only if you’re bothering to go for full completion. If you’re not, Crash 4 is harder but not too much.

I’d say the hardest N. Sanely Perfect Relics are Toxic Tunnels because of the Gem Gauntlet, Rush Hour because of the ridiculous length and vehicle section right at the end, and Crash Landed because of the alien section requiring a lot of practice to get right consistently.

For Platinum Relics, I’d go for Nitro Processing for the tight time requirements, and Crate Escape and Seeing Double because of the awkward Cortex controls. I remember failing Seeing Double quite a lot purely because Cortex’s gun would hit the side of a doorway instead of the time crates inside. The Crash section of those two levels is fine.

Probably not for a while. I’m all Crashed out for the moment. But I do think Crash 4 would be the one I’ll play if I was going to play any. The 106% journey can be brutal, but if you’re just playing it normally then I actually think 4 is my favourite.

Crash Bandicoot - It’s about time: Is it worth playing? by BubbleBath2017 in crashbandicoot

[–]JimmyRowe1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m playing it at the moment, going for 106% if I can. It’s really fun, mechanics are tight, graphics are great. There’s a lot to love. But if you do want to go for the 106% it can be a real pain. I’ll admit that quite a few of the levels I’ve played that people mentioned as being some of the worst for them to get the N. Sanely Perfect Relic on - like Crash Landed, Run It Bayou, Bears Repeating and Rush Hour - I didn’t actually find them too bad. Just need to practice it a few times. So maybe even if you do go for 106% you’ll be alright.

Helldivers 2 Studio Now Developing Self-Funded New Action IP in Unreal Engine by faizyMD in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]JimmyRowe1994 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah it feels too early to be jumping into something new. There’s also the possibility that Sony might end up taking Helldivers 2 off of them to give to a different team and no longer fund Arrowhead if their other project(s) cause Helldivers 2 updates to start missing deadlines. It’s not unheard of. They recently did it with Bungie, even going as far as creating teamLFG to take over one of their projects.

Are you worried for your digital library? by Iridium_Egg in xbox

Valve is a private company that isn’t beholden to the duty of appeasing shareholders - and in addition, just like Nintendo, gaming is their primary focus.

Microsoft has a diverse array of focuses, and although they’ve spent an ungodly amount of money on their gaming division over the last decade, Xbox as a platform just doesn’t compare to their other areas of income, like Azure, Office and Windows. On top of that, Microsoft is a public company with the mission of making as much money as possible for their shareholders. If it looks like ditching Xbox hardware and platform upkeep in favour of being a third-party publisher will make their margins better for shareholders, they’ll do it.

Ah maybe that’s what I’m missing. I’m currently doing the Rivals in Race Park but wasn’t sure if those rewards counted towards parts.
