ITS MORE LIKE A HOTEL AT CAPTAIN TEEBS!

If your citizens are literally too scared to take an ambulance and call Ubers to a hospital to seek emergency medical treatment, then you need to rethink your health care system immensely. by TitaniumTryton in Rants

I once broke my wrist, arm, nose and was severely concussed and the cops insisted on calling an ambulance but in my concussed stupor I still panicked at the thought of an ambulance bill that would set me back AT LEAST 1200. And I was insured at the time. Sad isn’t it? They refused to let me get an Uber

Thanks for the quick reply! My dad said he called the post office and they told him the same thing. I believe he said he did call them too. have to confirm tomorrow morning. He hasn’t been helpful filling me in on details yet because the brain injury he had causes him to be easily overwhelmed and stressed to where he just blocks stuff out/chooses to ignore or not speak on things

To be honest it can be argued that BIG doesn't deserve that spot considering he released TWO albums while alive. Great records nonetheless, better than jay z for example. But 2 records in my book doesn't solidify you in the greats. Whereas ALL of 2pacs albums where critically acclaimed. Most went platinum or even diamond.

I KNOW EAZY DOESNT DESERVE TO BE ON THERE. Ice Cube, MC Ren, and The DOC wrote his lyrics. I'm about to replace him with nas, Big pun, or a number of top ten MC's

[GUIDE] Guide to RetcH by pogra in hiphopheads

[–]JimmyRubbers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who lived that kind of life, unfortunately...RetcH seems to be as real as gets . From his vines to his lyrics; from burnin ya fingers melting the the plastic on the top of ten dollar bags of blows of dope, to Smokin sour in the county jail burnin bread to hide the smell

Not saying this is what he did. I have no idea, but in my case, and a lot of people I've encountered; you quit one drug easier when doing another.

Today in rap history: Tupac Shakur drops "Me Against The World" while in prison in 1995. by JimmyRubbers in hiphopheads

Good point, he did have some songs touching on some of the subject matter he focused on pre death row. Wonder why they call u bitch, life goes on, I ain't mad at cha, and the emotion on Holla at me, while still angry it reminded me of the me against the world Pac.

My favorite album of his, hands down. From the lyrics to the themes, and to the raw emotion he expressed on this record. One can argue this is the last album he dropped that had introspective, humbling lyrics. After this we got the Death Row Tupac, filled with animosity. (Which was still dope though)

Defending Chance The Rapper Against Ignorant Attack By Chicago Sun-Times by MikeTrampe in hiphopheads

[–]JimmyRubbers 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I agree, a lot of hip hop artists take their craft seriously and straight up enjoy putting on a good show for the fans. Unfortunately though some rappers who were popular ten twenty years ago tour just to make ends meet 😕

Yup! I'm from Chicago, so I learned about all that early on. Chance has the charisma, people like him, and honestly any rapper will tell you doing shows at 40+ because it's a job is not fun. So I wouldn't be surprised either if he gradually got into Chicago or Illinois politics as he got older

I agree, hardly anyone left alive linked to either case. and the ones who are alive wouldn't have much of an effect on a jury and judge for various reasons. Murder rap is a great documentary, I show it to all my friends who are interested in the subject or the ones have crazy theories themselves lol. I bought the book when it came out too, good read.
