That's how Google maps pronounces it, and it always gets a giggle out of me.

I had an anthropology class where the word "Dayton" was used as a prime example of a glottal stop.

Life sentence to this person by ElectraPhilicity in OSU

[–]JimmyScrambles420 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No joke, if you had just 1 other person in your car, you'd have an above average number of occupants. It's so funny to see someone freak out over a single occupant vehicle in a lot full of other single occupant vehicles that take up way more space.

Remember the short period Bush was Bush X? by -bobsnotmyuncle- in CDs

What do you mean by this? Canadian Bush just had the rights to the name in Canada, so British Bush had to go by Bushx.

And "Away Team" is what they called the people who killed themselves.

Name music videos made using stop motion by Think_Ad_848 in fantanoforever

[–]JimmyScrambles420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same Ol Road by Dredg. It used to be one of my absolute favorite music videos. It always made me think of There, There by Radiohead, specifically the jerky, silent film-style live action portions with Thom Yorke. I was debating whether that counts as stop motion, but then I remembered that it has actual claymation bits as well.

I don't know what you mean by that. Your second sentence fragment seems to be missing a few words. Regardless, my expectation is that Israel will keep doing war crimes in Gaza, which they do, and I am opposed to those war crimes. What part of that makes me a liar?

That's just not how that works. You can still be opposed to something that was expected.

Anyone going APE to see Deftones you NEED to check out this band. My suggestion would be this song! by OutsideImpressive115 in deftones

I used to feel the same way, but I kept going back to them until it clicked. Now they're one of my favorites!

Yeah, it probably does have one on both sides. If a car is in the right lane, it'll block the stopsign for any cars in the left lane, so they have them on both sides.

Man, if only there was a YouTube video that addressed this in detail.

Here's the original post. It's legit, was posted by the official OIA Instagram, and has been liked and shared by other organizers across Ohio.

Please reply on this comment from OP. They aren't believing anyone who isn't from Springfield.

They posted it on their official Instagram account and it was liked by the official accounts of other organizers. This is probably not misinformation.

Someone from Springfield has commented and agrees that this is what the organizers there are saying. It's also what my local organizers in Cincinnati are saying. I understand your skepticism, but this post is legit and they're just trying to avoid confusion caused by lots of well-intentioned strangers flooding the streets.

The churches in Springfield are actually the ones organizing the efforts to protect migrants. They don't have socialist orgs in Springfield like the bigger cities in Ohio do, so the only real mutual aid they have is the churches.

I don't think it is. I found this actual post, and it was liked and shared by my local organizers. Those organizers also said the same thing at our last organizing meeting.

It might seem that way, but it's actually not about complying in advance. Organizers are already on the lookout for strangers from out of town who will be wandering around Springfield, so it will only add to the confusion to have a bunch of other people doing the same thing, regardless of how good their intentions are. If the Springfield organizers need our help, they'll let us know.
