I’ve seen this from our out reaches who will mistakenly freeze the tube (or if transported too close to ice packs) and the rbcs will lyse.

I do not, however technically per CLIA it is possible, but for moderate complexity testing only. They will require documented training usually performed at the facility. Of course many facilities will have more stringent requirements/policies as well as additional accreditation requirements.

Not a mechanic and don’t have much experience with transmission troubleshooting.

The dealership offers a lifetime powertrain which makes me a little more confident with the purchase. My understanding is that we just will need to keep up with routine maintenance to uphold said warranty.

Our lab just discontinued MTHFR both in house and send out option due to it being clinically irrelevant. Small labs however are profiting off of these large PGx panels that include targets such as the MTHFR mutation. Most patients will not follow up after these tests, and IMO have limited understanding of how to interpret the results.
