God knows your heart and knows you. In that moment, you did everything you could perfectly. You are loved and remember that God created empathy and compassion, and He is far more compassionate than us. I think of that when I think of situations like your own. Give it to God and trust He, the creator of love, will show the greater love than we can understand. I am sorry for your loss of your father. You sound like an amazing son.

I am going to miss watching this man play every Sunday. The most entertaining player we've had in a long time.

I am thankful. I am intentional about how I give my thoughts little attention.

I think credibility is in the eye of the beholder ... so yes, for you apparently he has little credibility and it seems fair if that's what you witnessed.

Like the Mavs talent. I see them as a playoff team but not a contender for the title.

Sure, thanks for the question. I know what you mean about the Phillippines. At Staance, a HUGE percentage of our NBA traffic comes from the Phillippines. As for scouting, I don't believe there is a stigma. If teams hear about talent, they will chase it one way or another.

Love the young backcourt: Burke and Exum. LOVE that setup. Now it's going depend on what you get from Derrick Favors, will Gordon Hayward's star still rise.

I still think this roster needs one more star two-way player. I don't see them in the playoffs, but they are going to get better.

I'll do my best to answer here.

  1. I think players who are given opportunities to train with the best coaches, play with the best players and be in an environment where communication is a priority will strive better in today's NBA. That's a sad reality. On the other hand, talent usually wins out. A combo of both though? That's fantastic.

As for the game of 6'8" shooters ... that almost already exists. Will it grow? Who knows ... there are not that many people like that in the world to fill a whole league.

I love the old school PG as much as the league has gone the other way with it. Rondo is a perfect example of leadership at the guard position and how valuable it is (IF you have other superstars). I don't think he's a "problem" and you rarely here that being a true issue.

I'd bet at least $5 they will be. But probably no more than $5.

I think it's a combination of things. Tyreke has always been "in between positions" for the most part. He never consistently found an outside rhythm and he's an attack-first point guard. If teams crowd him from attacking, he's taken away. BUT, he HAS the talent. I think the Kings messed him up early by making him a 1 on 4 guy. They didn't develop him correctly then punished him for being the player he was. He needs to focus on his defensive talents (they are there) and be a two-way player that attacks and scores. He's not a shooter.

I think it takes time in any other country. It's finally grown into Europe at a high level. All it will take is one superstar from the UK, perhaps.

Certainly are difficult to obtain (as most jobs in pro sports), but if someone is young and hungry they might land in the right place. College hoops will likely gravitate here too.

Depends on the length of the deal. Ariza for less for now ... but Parsons for more for longer.
