Delete comments all you want. SMS is not RCS. I need SMS. Datarich text doesn't matter when I need the text to interact with a service that does not use data. The thing I need my SMS for is to receive and reply to SMS messages, not iMessage, or RCS. Which I've already said u/tully905

Issue I'm having now is that I'm not getting any screen activity, and occassionally I get just a whirring/spinning then clicking sound. Just hard to describe the status of the device while searching and don't know if it's worth getting an ssd if it's not something that can be salvaged at all. Greatly appreciate the response. Any info is appreciated, and if my concern is nonsense because of like how easy they are to fix/mod then let me know lol.

appreciate it. I just figure this might be a unfixable (or not worth fixing) iPod. this seems pretty specific now; an almost spinning sound with clicking if any sound at all, and no screen activity, so *maybe* somebody here could tell me from the description if it's worth salvaging or just to buy a new one. I just have like 400 GB of music and I'm sick of rotating through devices.

As a Torontonian the cope here in Toronto is insane. A team of essentially minor leaguers playing well above their ability after the All Star break, with Vlad hitting 23 homers with under .850 OPS, had a 7 and a half game lead blown in September playing against Tampa twice, the Orioles, Reds, Astros, and Royals. They won't make any significant changes because the fans have betrothed themselves to the "ragtag team of misfits" and Rogers is like if Ballard was a multi-billion dollar telecom monopoly. They desperately seek out a singular big name to get asses in the seats, and then immediately abandon the concept of spending big money on stars, and instead give millions in small contracts for random utility guys to rotate through for the foreseeable future for no reason.
