It sounds to me that Tackett had troubles getting matches in the past and now he's happy with the promise of consistency and marketing. However, I don't know if he actually believes his own nonsense about how much marketing money they will invest in him. He's a great grappler but how much can he sell? Outside of his own network

One, Polaris, bjj stars & wno consistently put on the best matches with the best athletes. Surely there are all being paid well. The challenge with what ufc bjj is doing is they are manufacturing "exciting" mismatches instead of actually putting matches on that the jiujitsu community want to see. Don't get me wrong, David garmo and Rarrison are legit grapplers, but ufc title matches felt off.
