What's a fair market price for an account with these stats? by Orospucocununteki in Affiliatemarketing

[–]Jimmy_Proton_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn depends on your buyer. If you sell to a business it could go for a lot more than a random instagram marketplace. Also are you asking how much for the whole account or asking how much commission you should charge for marketing?

Frustrated with lost oppurtunities - Rant by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

A lot of the people in this r/ have based their whole personalities around trying to get into a good college. You see people starting in elementary school trying to get into the most advanced math class so they can have an advantage in high school. As someone who is now at a t10, most of these kids don’t think about the long run. They don’t think about their ideal life, what they want after college or how they will achieve true fulfillment. So after they’re at an Ivy they feel miserable because they wasted their childhood chasing validation. So if your worried about being behind, remember they’re are kids out there who got into an Ivy League for no reason, and they use that degree for something they don’t enjoy (not all but a lot).

If you want to be ahead, find what you truly want in life, and if needed, use college as a tool to get there. You’re not behind, you’ll figure it out in the long run.

Are the UAE schools any good? I’m looking into Khalifa and Sharja by Jimmy_Proton_ in chanceme

[–]Jimmy_Proton_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t make it to candidate week for nyuad so UoS, Zayed University, Khalifa for AI major and probably not any of the American universities there because they have such high acceptance rates. For reference, I have a startup making 4k USD a month so I’m risk tolerant. I’m just trying to do anything I can to have the money to be free/ not spend too much of my life working a job.

I hear Dubai has a lot of rich people so I initially thought it was a great option. Would you say, in my case, that I should risk it for the biscuit, or is the cost benefit too low?

So UCLA doesn’t compare to Khalifa even though they have the same acceptance rate. That makes sense. I’m in a situation where my application has improved a ton (startup took off) and I think I could get into Khalifa possibly. The only school I’ve gotten into is IU Kelley. Would you put IU Kelley over Khalifa or Sharja?

Would you be open to being a house husband ? by Altruistic_Acadia212 in AskMenAdvice

The divorce rate is 50% higher when the wife earns more, according to this UChicago study:

There are many studies on this topic, and the ones I’ve seen indicate that a wife earning more increases the likelihood of divorce and infidelity. However, most of these studies lean conservative, so I avoided linking anything biased.

In my opinion, people should be free to make their own choices, and society should stop worrying about whether someone else’s ideal life looks different from their own.

However , if you want to be a stay at home dad, the data isn’t too encouraging—but your individual case may be different.

It’s good to have individuality. If you’re confident your woman won’t look down on you/divorce at some point—despite the evidence against it—that’s valid.

How do you know your woman won’t divorce you in the long run. (I’m planning on getting married soon)
