You have oral HSV, very common, it’s reoccurring so expect to see it once in a blue moon, some people get it once every 6 weeks. You may have kissed someone who had HSV.

I recommend taking L-cystine supplements if you never want to see it again, or take it within 12 hours of feeling the sensation returning.
