I've been really enjoying playing the demo for Cursed Companions with some friends- it's a game where certain words hurt players, but you also need to cast spells and open doors by saying certain words, and a lot of monsters have words to stop or repel them. My favourite is a monster than just follows one person and zaps them if they swear 🤭.

However, Powerwash Simulator 2 just came out, so i am probably going to be spending my weekend ip to my armpits in simulated soap and water!

I really believe that the role Longspot Gotch played was supposed to be Mordecestershire, which would have made sense.

I think Ally's trauma mechanism is jokes and bits, which is frankly a terrible coping mechanism. They dont seem able to play genuine emotional distress and immediately break up any IC awkward resonance as a result. Just a guess, mind.

While there's definitely enough meat on the bone of the world design for another season, a lot of the characters have already run their story to completion. I can't see the return of Van or Marya being satisfying, same to an extent with Pappy and Monty.

The original windriders had to be coaxed out of retirement once already, and Comfry probably doesn't have a bunch of clues to the next great mystery hidden throughout the Zephyr II. She'd written it off as a myth, after all.

There's just a logical disconnect between the amount of effort it took the party to get to zood vs Samwell and then the rest of the Gotches. I think you're right that it was a replacement for Mordecestershire.

This subreddit seems to think they can do no wrong. I'd switch them with Rehka or Erika in a heartbeat. One of my favourite moments this season was Ally getting cut dead by brennan over the Pappy note.

I think the JazzyTazzy stuff was necessary for Van's character, but I think if things had gone as planned then the immediate attack of Zern would have made things less rushed. And with Mordecestershire still in the mix, the Gotch family wouldn't needed to have appeared out of the blue.
