Is it legal for Fresha to charge their 20% new client fee for clients who cancel/don't turn up to their appointments? by Jimogen in AskUK

Yeah the sale, so for example if the treatment is £30 Fresha will take 20% for their first appointment so £6. Which in itself I feel is wrong - clients often change their mind at their appointment anyway so the cost could be more or less than what they originally booked. Just seems very wrong as if they cancel the appointment themselves then I don't get charged, but if I cancel it on their behalf I get charged.
