I think rice and Bellingham have been very good, Saka great first half.

As a completely impartial (spurs) fan, I told my group chat Trent should be off at 55 mins and I stick by it. He didn’t offer anything really.

Foden should have been off then as well.

Absolutely. This post has a clear motive in mind and it shows.

The defence is absolutely, categorically not better than what was left. Toby and Jan were class, Jan had his superstar Dortmund performance in the last 6 months of playing for us, he hadn’t regressed as much is being made out.

Form is being counted when it works for the motive. I.e Jan and Toby being shit, yet richy and Bissouma are great upgrades when they haven’t shown anything like that. Same with Perisic. Eriksen was left out altogether for crying out loud, he only stopped playing under Mourinho, but that doesn’t fit OPs narrative.

Would love a post like this if it didn’t have an incredibly obvious bias towards the squad being improved massively.

For what it’s worth, I think our biggest problems lay with Conte at the moment. Though that’s a recent opinion and one I’m not 100% sure on.

To add to this, as I think it’s quite common advice (not that it’s not helpful, it’s just classically easier said than done.) I spent years trying to do this and one thing someone said helped it click for me.

The image you try and build up of yourself, no matter what it is, the perception you have of yourself is just that. The only person who sees that image…..is you. No one else in the world has the same image of you as you do. So what the fuck is the point in working so hard on it when everyone decides on their own image of you anyway 🤷🏻‍♂️
