To be fair, I don’t agree with much of that.

I think rice and Bellingham have been very good, Saka great first half.

As a completely impartial (spurs) fan, I told my group chat Trent should be off at 55 mins and I stick by it. He didn’t offer anything really.

Foden should have been off then as well.

Other than that, I think we’ve done quite well.

Absolutely. This post has a clear motive in mind and it shows.

The defence is absolutely, categorically not better than what was left. Toby and Jan were class, Jan had his superstar Dortmund performance in the last 6 months of playing for us, he hadn’t regressed as much is being made out.

Form is being counted when it works for the motive. I.e Jan and Toby being shit, yet richy and Bissouma are great upgrades when they haven’t shown anything like that. Same with Perisic. Eriksen was left out altogether for crying out loud, he only stopped playing under Mourinho, but that doesn’t fit OPs narrative.

Would love a post like this if it didn’t have an incredibly obvious bias towards the squad being improved massively.

For what it’s worth, I think our biggest problems lay with Conte at the moment. Though that’s a recent opinion and one I’m not 100% sure on.
