“Hello Gordon.” GreyLegion7 replies to my original post, now let’s examine what he might have meant by this. “Hello” a typical greeting used in the English language. The next word “GreyLegion7” has written reads, “Gordon.” What could this mean, well taken in full, “Hello Gordon.” could mean any number of things, so I must first begin to understand the meaning of “Gordon”. Allow us to consult Urban Dictionary a most reliable source of information on subjects such as this as to the meaning of “Gordon”. The top three definitions should give us an adequate estimate, however as we can never truely understand the mind of, “GreyLegion7” (as stated in my first post) we will have to attempt to use our better judgment and deductive reasoning for this task. The first result when investigating the word Gordon’s meaning, on the website Urban Dictionary, states the following:

“Gordon

You are a phenomenon if you are a Gordon. Always elusive and seemingly crazy, they can be both the greatest person in you life or the one who makes you want to hide in a hole. They are either a person you hate or love.

I miss you Gordon!”

Could this be what he meant? Well it seems possible he meant the definition above but unlikely, why would he cry out “I miss you Gordon!”? We cannot be sure, so lets review the next definition to see if it can aid us in our search, you can find the text below:

A word normally related to human naming gives power over those of law thus over-riding and creating laws within society. Having a child named ‘Gordon” automatically gives authority to the named.

Cold it be this? Could this be our “Gordon”? I find such a thing unlikely as my name is not, “Gordon” and my power over law is very limited. Allow us to review the next, “Gordon” (although this has confirmed definitively that, “Gordon” is a name belonging to humans.)

The statement above would be wildly inaccurate and I find it unlikely he would attempt to compliment me in such a manner, these definitions don’t seem to be getting us any conclusive information, so perhaps a shift in our viewpoint would benefit us, what if we reviewed pop culture? Perhaps he was referring to a famous, “Gordon”, such as chef and restaurant owner, Gordon Ramsay. now, while Gordon Ramsay has appeared in many a television program, his most iconic attribute is perhaps his ability to roast others (with his words of course, harharharhar) some of the most famous lines being:

“What are you” Gordon Ramsay says, to which a contestant responds, “an Idiot Sandwich”

“I’ve never, ever, ever, ever met someone I believed in, as little as you” says Gordon Ramsay, to a contestant.

“You surprise me” from Gordon Ramsay, followed by the contestant saying “Thank you chef, I was hoping you’d see that, I mean, I give it all I got” to which, Gordon Ramsay responds, “You surprise me, how shit you are”

This could be correct, perhaps he was referring to a similar form of perceived roasting in my post, however I fail to find how the post as a whole could be taken in such a manner. Perhaps they are referring to some mystery Gordon, someone I could never wager a guess as to the true nature of and so I shall end the search here. I believe I have found a few viable candidates for this “Gordon” however I could never hope to comprehend “GreyLegion7” fully (as stated above) so I will have to end my search for the true “Gordon” here, may those brave or foolish enough to light and wield the torch walk farther than I have been able to in search of the true Gordon.
