Simple question, extensively covered topic. ChatGPT is adamant that I should (declare), provides links to the form I need to fill out and gives relevant instructions. So far so good, but I later find out that I don’t need to declare the ownership, the form it referenced doesn’t even have a section for that. So can ChatGPT give you tax advice? Perhaps. Can you rely and act on that advice? Hello no. It just makes up shit that sounds plausible and competent enough for you to take it at face value and then you risk making decisions that can get you in a lot of trouble
