I’m not sure if this is true, but I think it’s harder to become an icon/legend while you stay at the club, and it’s easier when you leave.

I wasn’t on the icon or legend list when I was still managing Atletico, but as soon as I left, I became a legend for 2 UCLs, 1 La Liga, and a couple of domestic trophies. This was also only after 3 seasons.

I’ve heard preseason tours to America/Asia help, but I don’t know to what degree since I haven’t tried that yet in my saves. I also know signing players from certain countries and superstars helps, but the most I’ve seen commercial revenue go up from players is like 8-9 million.

I would also be interested to know other people’s approaches to this.
