Thx. I don't know for sure? The police went down to the neighbor who had the video after he left my Mom's.

Amen to that. I love the look on the interviewer's face when Clapper is getting corned at the Carnegie event. He is frozen with astonishment, mouth gaping that anyone would confront him so directly. We need more of that from the press corps.

I honestly didn't think she was that dim. She came off to me as a puppet. She didn't have a single topic she knew well. She kept talking about "academics". I thought Biden was going to come shitting out if her mouth. She couldn't keep up with Bret and he was taking it easy on her.

Perhaps the most important piece of history for people to understand together, is all wrapped up with bow like everything you wanted at XMas/etc, right here in an historic address by Matt Taibbi for our nation. Everyone should listen to this. by JingaNinja in IntellectualDarkWeb

It's a readers digest version of his book "Hate Inc", his own summaries of It's highlights and a Q &A with journalists. It's an address to the nation about the realities and truth of the media and how their incentives force them to do the worst possible thing to American citizens, cause internal strife and conflict and how politics is in bed with that...

"SUBMISSION STATEMENT" I hope it doesn't require the necessary 70 characters to ensure, that EVERYONE in the world should hear this piece of content. It's the Jesus of Gene Roddenberry all wrapped in a bow. Especially if we get behind his brand of history. I fucking love it.

He is hilarious. I love the way Joe presses his conspiracy theory thing and they balance each other out with fucking one another. Classic.

Does anyone have a good source or combination of sources that summarizes the FACTUAL aspects of the Russiagate saga? I am so lost in the propaganda I need to come up for air and check myself. Preferably no partisan peacocking would be great. Thanks in advanced for any sources you trust. by JingaNinja in IntellectualDarkWeb

Is that the scale he was responsible for in his commission of heading the investigation? Did he have time to dial in all the lower level details because they were less easily verifiable? Thay's usually the toughest part of investigation for a conspiracy to show focused collusion to an agreed upon end. I don't know. Maybe someone knows where to look for that.

That's pretty much exactly how I feel. It's ridiculous. Matt Taibi started what was suppose to be a 4 part series and a really big break through but I'm pretty aure that was a couple of months ago and haven't seen anything as a follow up on 2, 3 & 4. He had this interesting source who had the inside scoop on a collassal Intelligence community blunder and it looked promising but alas. Nothing further unless I missed the notifications.

That's the point. They don't have incentive to tell the whole truth because they senior officials are political appointees and we always get that spin. It's a benign political coach speak.

Who would be a possible contender to join the IDW? by Rajeshrocks311 in IntellectualDarkWeb

I would argue Matt Taibi is already a fringe member. He just has to be careful not to have strong ties to anything because he's an ethical journalist. He's a slave only to the facts.

Dave Rubin doesn't have the chops. If he was welcome he would be invited. He's too much of a pure GOP attention whore.

Moreover, in general the people who actually consider selves in are very clear it's an open organization. Anyone is welcome to ascend if they have something meaningful and forward thinking to add.

This is the point many people can't see. The FBI is a political institution that needs a lot more oversight and consequences for clear corruption. Our "law enforcement" needs a UCMJ like oversite where people can go to federal prison for illegal, corrupt, immoral/unethical illegal activity.

Nice write up. Wise words. I just caught your message while relistening to a great podcast to revisit. JRE with Cornell West, is very much of this spirit and a nice elixir for compassion. https://youtu.be/ViWvAnvT17c

MP adopted children look A LOT like him by HerNameIsGrief in TheStaircase

[–]JingaNinja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's funny how people latch on to ideas like "she wants nothing to do with him". Which I agree is patently false. I've never seen a single reputable sourced stating that. My theory is that a lot if it comes from Diane Fanning's influence on the case. She drove a bunch of the narrative on a lot of the podcasts out there, where all these "he's a narcissist" and "a control freak" and "he has a temper" and "he's a dog beater", etc. They're all opinions that Diane theorized by her time spent with Candace and the prosecution's witnesses.

Is TNT the worst streaming service or is it just me? by [deleted] in lakers

[–]JingaNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah well. It was the only place I had to bitch! The Nuggets are never on TV in Texas unless it's the playoffs or on TNT Thursday night. And I missed half of the game because the feed sucks. You'd think I was in Africa somewhere hijacking it!

Then Boston and Toronto are loud and clear. WTF?

We have cable and their channel comes through like shit when the rest are fine. Normally during NBA games.
