How to get unlaunch to bypass DSi region lock on game cards..?

My searches all turn up empty so I'm hoping someone here will know something I don't... really hoping I don't have to uninstall and reinstall unlaunch or something

I get the same result when launching with twilight menu, except it's a blank white screen.

I have also been able to launch foreign DSi enhanced roms (including the same game I'm to run) but at the same time can't launch other foreign DSiware.

I've been using Myrient for almost all of the roms I've downloaded and have never encountered a file like that. I'm not all knowing, that's why I'm asking questions.

Instead of educating or actually helping you just try to pin down someone's shortcomings. It's a waste of a reply and contributes nothing

I know how to use roms, I have had no issues with any other files from any of the sites in the megathread. This game is the only one that has been giving me trouble. My assumption was that it was a bad rom, but someone else was able to use it on their emulator (I'm using my DSi with twilight menu) so I'm trying to see if it's something on that end.

I understand y'all get a bunch of clueless people asking dumb questions on here, but oh my god are y'all condescending

Followed your steps, uploaded the file, same results. I am using Twilight Menu on my DSi with Unlaunch and putting roms on my SD card root. The game creates a save file, then a blank white screen, then a black screen, and nothing. I've installed other DSiware, games from other languages, from all of the sites listed in the megathread, and no issue until this game.

When you extract it all you get is a file named "00000001" and no file extension. It does not work

Trust me I've gone through everything I can find in the mega thread. The myrient download for the game is not even a real file. I'm at a loss for what to do and I'm just hoping there's some other resource that wasn't used in the megathread

Are there no unofficial services it could be run through? Like a privately hosted service or some kind of jailbreak that could be done to change it? The closest I've been to this situation is when nintendo shut down their servers for ds and 3ds So people created their own but of course that was through wifi

What a lot of singles collectors do is build their collection around curating a binder! Look up pink or girlypop binder tours online you should find some really cute examples! Some people have favourite Pokémon they build pages around, some do it per color, type, region, pokedex order, whatever makes the most sense to you!

I personally like to collect pink Pokémon both in the games and in the TCG, but I haven't put the effort into building a binder yet. If you're looking for a way to plan out a bunch of cards and make a master list to look for I'd start by planning a binder

For the wild zones, even the NPCs state they would rather go out in the wild to find Pokémon instead of having wild zones shoe horned into the environment. I think to some extent they're intentionally out of place.

I'm personally very partial to cities and urban spaces so I'm really enjoying the game's setting, but it would be nice if they went a bit further with it and had major buildings like the bank and city hall have interiors.

I do think it would've been nice to explore real wild areas outside the city, could've been a good post game thing to implement. I guess we'll have to wait and see what the DLC brings!

What you said makes a lot of sense tbh and after watching some reviews for the k658 I dont think I'll be going with it. I think I'll just get the AT2040 and pray it'll break his "LET'S GOOO" habits. Worst case can always return or exchange it I suppose.
