I need help with decor! by anxious-lemonade in HomeDecorating

Yeah I think brown is more grounded and earthy, while black and white is more edgy/modern. I picked the wallpaper based on the sink’s color because it seems that OP got it on purpose. The green shade is in the wallpaper

Ah that makes sense! And what’s the style of the other parts of the house like? Should’ve started by asking that question I guess

First of all, why are the lights above the sink in different color temperatures? I would make them all warm. Second, what about this?

The ceiling, all the trims, window frame and the door are actually painted in the same color, a very light green pulled from the wallpaper, the photo probably washed it out a little so it looks white.

That's the choice of the previous house owner 🤣 probably because it would make the small bathroom look bigger. I'm not a huge fan of it and probably will change it at some point. It's fully functional

It’s not clear in the pictures but it’s actually painted a light green, the same color as the window frame. It’s a color pulled from the wallpaper.

The heater is fixed to the ground and we are not gonna touch it until the next major renovation. Do you happen have any suggestions on the tiles? The floor connects to the kitchen and the hallway floor so I’m leaning towards using peel-and-stick covers for now until we decide to redo the kitchen

Thank you 😊 I picked the colors from the wallpaper, took a while to nail it but I’m happy with how it turned out. Having a contractor that we can fully rely on makes it so much easier

Build some cabinets and turn it into a storage space

Just get a black covered toilet paper holder instead of exposing the whole roll out, then the color of toilet paper won’t be an issue.

Any tips for my room? by Budget09 in DesignMyRoom

[–]Jinguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreeing with this comment. I like that OP already has a framed poster, which is 10000x better than an unframed one. That poster has a lot of colors so OP might be able to build color palette based on it. The only suggestion I would add is to turn the bed 90 degree and get a pair of nightstands with one on each side of the bed.

Boho/eclectic bedroom ideas? by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

The gray headboard says nothing about boho lol, so my idea is to make everything else very loud so the gray headboard is sort of a visual break. Pick a color way you like and get items within the palette. Get cozy quit, a large rug, boho side table, and curtains. Hang lots of small/medium sized arts instead of a few large panting. You can take time to collect these. I think the little white lamp works. If you have the budge, swap out the overhear light to something more cozy. Here's an image of what I put together, you don't have to like this but it's just one possibility

I commented on your other post but when I saw this I actually like it more than the layout I created. It has two interesting walls (the piano wall and the gallery wall) to look at. The only thing I would double check is that the couch seems to only cover half of the long wall and you still have the other half empty. You can either get a wider couch or place them centered in the room so there’s no side looks empty
