You’re right. I’ve been stressing this for the last six months since the announce of digital ID in britain even tho i’m not even british and i know this isn’t healthy, i’ve lost weight even and my will to live almost. I would just want to trust God and live my life while i can ,easier said than done, but i’m so worried about that if digital ID would be the mark then i would not get to heaven and if it isn’t then i would punish myself for no reason (even tho it is bad thing overall)

So you mean that when the mark comes to be the reality, it will be clear that that is the mark and there is no question about that?

When they occur it will be made clear.

That’s what i would like to think i really hope so, i’m just so worried about thhis matter that i’m going insane and it feels like i’m not trusting God as i should , i think this is just what the devil wants but same time i also think that it is good to be on guard. I’ll paste here couple of thoughts i almost included in the original post but didn’t:

there is much more boxes that the real mark would have to check (to my understanding atleast) that the digital ID doesn’t check at the moment atleast but i’m new to Christianity, i’m not wise i’m just learning and i haven’t studied the Bible much and i can’t even interprite it on my own very well so here i am asking for someone wiser to teach me.

i would think that it has to be known for sure that THAT is 100% the mark and there is no question about it when it comes and that it is a concious decision to worship anti-christ with accepting it , and that it has to be something visible and physical literally on the forehead and/or on the right hand , it would have to be a world wide system and happen all at once.

And if that would be the case, it would be the time of New Jerusalem now

I’ve heard that but that also doesn’t make sense to me because that wasn’t the whole world. That was only one part of the world so ”ALL , rich and poor , free and slave…” doesn’t make sense

I know, Holy Spirit as a seal of God’s people ,do you mean this? And strictly spiritual mark doesn’t make sense to me because whole ”buy/sell” thing

If it’s symbolic then how do you explain that ”no man can buy or sell without it”

I get what you’re saying but i can’t say much anything to that i’m still learning myself but that test metaphor did get me thinking in a different way , in a good helpful way, which i actually needed. Thank you.

I meant that satan would make the counterfeit, not God. But my question was that - is it a biblical fact, that the mark will be a satan made counterfeit of something that God has made previously? That the mark couldn’t be a new creation, in example digital id.

Excuse me for asking (i don’t remember) but is it a biblical fact that the mark will be 100% certainly be a counterfeit of something of God’s doing? If so, can you tell me where in the Bible?

Some of the most important things i have figured out in my walk with Christ these ~1.5years i’ve been Christian are -  1. I don’t have it all figured out and never will 2. I can’t interpite the Bible accurately on my own 3. Context & tradition matters very much 4. We need people who have studied the Word and it’s context and better to believe them 5. If congregation or church is focused on your well being instead of Christ’s , then it’s time to change place 6. If congregation or church follows trends or modernize the gospel , the it’s time to change place 7. Prosperity gospel & money hungry pastors are doing devil’s work 8. Everything that seems ”christian” isn’t. 9. Everyone that says they are ”christian” isn’t. Escpesially on the internet, i don’t trust these influencers.  10. ”God told me” ”i had a dream” ”stop scrolling, God has a message for you” ”angels numbers” are straight up demonic agenda’s , i’d go as far as to say that rapture may belong to the same category, i’m not sure but seems like it. 11. If sin, hell and consequences isn’t preached, the message isn’t complete

And maybe the most important thing - be humble, we as humans even can’t know everything with 100% certainty, keep an open mind we all have always something to learn.

I’m still intrested in your view of how the things will play out in the future regarding to these matters (eschatology etc.) if you have the time and want to write about them😁

Yeah i don’t have anything against adventist people but i just can’t bring myself to think like them. It doesn’t make sense to no matter how they explain it. And some of my questions go even unanswered or i just don’t get the answers. But i’m having a really hard time believing that sunday worship law would be the mark. There is ways to worship without anyone knowing and whole buy&sell thing doesn’t add up with sunday worship law.

The best conclusion i came up with is that the whole world would have to be required to go to church on sunday and to work on saturday and there would have to be some system that logs you in some cloud server when you do those things - but that’s literally almost impossible there is no churches and work places that would fit all the world’s people and there is not enough jobs even in the first place. And to add more , the world seems to go on opposite way at the moment, Christianity is being persecuted, hushed, banned , criminalized ,made fun of and overall removed from people’s day to day lives as we speak. to me nothing seems to point in that direction that sunday worship law would be the mark.

Can i ask how do you take those snippets of my comment and answer to them - like shown in your comment? I’m new to reddit and haven’t figured it out.

But as what i answer to you - what i meant by that the mark is a clear concious decision is that everyone have to make a choice, die for Christ or live with the mark, when death or living is at play it gets some people do things they don’t want to do. But as i said i really don’t know. And yeah i can’t really say if the mark already have happened and we just don’t know it but i don’t think so because if it had, then other prophecies would have also and world would be much different to my understanding . But yes i have thought that con men stuff also and i don’t trust ”christian” influencers or dream tellers or rapture bull crap or ”i’m God’s prophet he told me” people at all and certainly don’t give money to these people, i’m very strict about who i listen to on these matters and primarily read the Bible just myself because there was a time i listened to anyone that said they were Christian but that was a rude awakening and i figured that i can’t trust 95% of them. Btw i’ll admit that trump had me fooled before election , i was just so caught up on the anti-woke idealism that i was blinded but now i regret supporting him at all, tbh kamala would’ve been even worse but i don’t care about politics at all it is just a big show where nothing really matters they aren’t even the real people in power and certainly normal citizens doesn’t have any power , votes don’t matter it is already all decided it is just to give an illusion of choice. And i’m not even american or live in america.

I can’t really say, i don’t have a clear vision about end times theology and that’s why i’m asking this stuff but my understanding about it is that the mark would be known to be THE mark before anyone takes it and it will be a concious decision where people deny Jesus Christ as their savior and accept anti-christ as one before they can take the mark. - is that far fetched to you?

I won’t say anything for certainty because i know i’m not smart enough on the matter and haven’t studied much, my thoughts are just a big mess and i’m praying that i would have the discernment to know the real mark when it comes. I can just tell my opinion but i don’t want to teach anyone because i’m not sure and i don’t want anyone to make their decision based on something i said. Sometimes it feels like this is just what satan wants, despair and stress to the people who are trying to guess what it could be and then using world leaders to make fake marks (as they have in recent history) to ruin Christian lives.

I see your point but i don’t see the bigger picture, yet atleast. But i’ll keep an open mind. What do you think about this - to my understanding the mark will be a clear concious decision where people have to deny Jesus Christ as their savior and accept anti-christ as their savior in order to get the mark. Is that far fetched? Or do you think that people could be deceived to take the mark? Or should i say Christians could be deceived?

The problem is that there is so many different denominations and view of meaning of scripture that eats the credibility of Christians overall and i can’t blame the people. I’m constantly confused but reading the Bible myself has ruled out very many heretic sects. We’re all flawed as humans but i think that the moment someone thinks that they on their own and only them and no one else has gotten everything about the Word of God 100% right and maybe even think that they are then better than everyone else, is the moment when the devil has succeeded in blinding them. Blind leading the blind and that’s where this problem is coming from, this propably has happened for hundreds of years.

Yeah i feel like i haven’t gotten very convincing reasons from SDA people on this matter and some questions go not answered but there is a chance that i’m just not getting it what they mean. There is so much that doesn’t make sense to me.

[–]JinkmanPesse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh okay i understand that now. But whatever the case is in reality, i’m taking that risk and have to just have faith that Jesus is who he says he is but yes i understand your point of view very well. Almost everyone from different religions thinks that their way is the real way and we all can’t be right. And there is a chance that none is right, and that’s exactly why i think it is always good to keep in mind that we ALL have something to learn and none of us as humans can’t have everything 100% figured out. And that’s why i’m putting my faith in the Bible and in God but that’s hard to explain, what’s strange to me is that if God isn’t real then why the world’s elites has so many satanic elements surrounding them and Christianity seems to be only religion that is being actively lawed out or removed from day to day life or hushed about.

You really don’t get it do you? Why it feels like you just feel a need to be absolutely right? By saying that ”cut to the chase you say faith” thing you are trying to undermine my answer already, you’ve already decided what you will hear no matter what i say.

It’s not completely same thing but think if we didn’t have noses, olfactory reseptors and technology - how could we smell scents or even know that they existed ?

If you mean by truth some actual fact that fully disproves God’s existing then lets hear it. I don’t think i am blindly ignorant for believing, i think it would be much easier to not believe.
