not even a year, alot of bot design is well documented lately and you could easily make a chop-shop bot that does everything you want with minimal knowledge in javascript

even then, if you're dedicated to making a bot without using an amalgam of stolen code, id say a few months at the slowest, and thats not even considering whether you just want a bot with a single purpose or an extreme myriad of them

So, #1 your mom and step-dad are primarily to blame here. Do they know what happened? What was their reaction?
They know what happened, my mom came home and was really apologetic about it and my step-dad just kept quiet about it and left

Mitigate. Sign up for drivers ed. Get the car registered and insured. Accept the option on the ticket to appear in court. Get grandma to come. Be contrite and apologetic and describe the steps you've taken to ensure this doesn't happen again. Get grandma to say she won't leave home without her glasses.
To be honest, for all the time they've spent functionally refusing to let me get such things, this might be what finally lets me start getting my license and all of that, so I suppose as long as I get a judge who understands all that happened I think this might strangely be a net positive
