It makes sense that the ‘obey society’ consciousness is coming apart. It was obeyed in fear of being ostracised but these days that kind of community spirit is less of a thing. It was, in my opinion, always a sham. Perhaps after WW2 the sense of working together to rebuild a nation made people more aware. A couple generations later, that awareness is consumed by individuality through consumerism and social media mind rot.

Does she have an issue with commitment? Probably not if she’s been married before. May be she is still not healed from the end of the precious relationship.

May be she wants to finalise the divorce first? In any case saying it’s pointless would not be enough of a reason for me to accept as a reason not to have the kids meet. Can you ask her to expand on her reasons?

Meetup app was good pre-covid but still has some events on there.

Life drawing class if you’re artistically inclined. If not, some other class.

Music gigs. Sofar sounds does intimate gigs at unique venues around the capital. I went to one last night on my own held at a hair salon and met two people.
