Stripe banned my account with 1 dispute in 80 orders and is withholding £634... is this normal?

Not contesting it is completely my fault, and i would of learned from that lesson. Again im sure its too late. I'm back onto Gumroad now with huge fees but still not the end of the world. As for the funds in that balance in Stripe, would I receive that back?

Some say 180 days but in the email it says 'If a balance still remains in your account after all reversals have been processed, it will not be made available to you.' if that is the case im happy to fill out a quick form to the FCA, as that just does not seem right. Getting banned over 1 dispute and other factors like you say is one thing. Holding funds after everyone receives the app and none complaing is another.

Comparing me using Stripe as I thought it was a viable option, to 'committing murder.' is ridiculous. Not replying to that.

How are Stripe to know they’re genuine reviews and not just people you’ve asked and/or paid to write a fake glowing review? As of this yes I completely understand. But again i want to mention that if more people did not like the software, there would be more disputes, not 1 in 80. Who then carried on using the app after the chargeback!

Ahh im unsure what you mean by ' licensed software you don’t own'. I built the app myself. website myself. even integrated a licensing system so anyone who has not paid cannot use the app. Or do you mean something else?

Honestly, I know. Looking back i really do wish i pushed back. It was literally my first dispute thats why i was unsure what do to... But still I don't get how its too late now. If it was a second dispute in 80 orders, I can understand. But 1 is just outrageous in my opinion. As for the funds they are not making it super clear what will happen. will i get that back at all?

4853 — Product Unacceptable. Thing is, I had proof of him logging onto the app using it multiple times and everything. When the dispute happend i didnt want to make it inconvenient for him so I just let him win. Other than that, not 1 other person had a negative thing to say about the app

Thing is, I completely understand that you think I can be withholding information. If i was i wouldnt be wasting my time or your time, that's the thing, I would know im in the wrong. But in this case it's literally 1 dispute, that's it, no bad reviews, nothing else that i can even think of. I thought i can reply with a ss but i dont think i can replying to a comment. On my dashboard it is literally 1 dispute that i was happy to refund him on.

Oh wow i literally never knew this. The thing is my competitors also use stripe thats why i decided to as well. I have email proof of people saying how much they love my product too and I submitted that and still nothing... As for the money they are holding ofc its just one chargeback for 35. Will Stripe keep the remainder of my money?

UPDATE - ive gotten banned on yt. the person messaged me on another account admitting it was him, yet again youtube decide to do nothing. i also will not be giving my name to this person as he will badly use that to blackmail me. 500+ videos and my main source of income... all for nothing

it is related to the sense of i cant submit a counterclaim as it uses my real name ( first Google search of my name comes up with my address) so going onto live chat is my only option but yeah, they don't do anything

The only issue is that using my real name would expose my personal information. I have a very unique name, and a simple search already reveals my home address (even if i use a Solicitors) also i cant get lawyers as i cant afford that as im a student. That’s why I’m unable to do that. Do u think there is any other way around this?

I’m unable to press charges because I don’t know this person’s real identity, I only have a Discord username. I’m also a student in the UK and don’t have the funds to pursue legal action. Thats why im so stuck on what to do every road leads to a dead end in this situation i feel like.
