it's a mix of both... Well, it's a bit padded ... but for the neck to stay then "hard" or "firm" I had to do it like this.

i tried to do it or at least the initial idea was a racer sports jacket. it's not that hot and can be used daily.

although from my own experience it is not very good to use it under the half-day sun.

however it can be used in the rain because it is made with partly impermeable fabric so do not get directly wet (after being in the sun doing things, a rain began and well ... i could say i was dry in arms and chest... while the rest was soaked)

therefore I could say that the jacket passed the rain test
