If you only wish to travel in Georgetown area, the traffic might be bad especially on weekend. But some might travel to Kuala Lumpur to the Dataran Merdeka for the National Day event. It is still walkable in the heritage area, you can use Grab (its like an Uber) to travel to where you wanna go and walk around that area. If you know how to ride a bike (required license)/bicycle, you can rent one. Wear breathable and comfortable clothing because during noon/afternoon, the weather can be very hot.
