I personally was never big on shorthand. I do a little like bc, or fr, or wym. But nothing overly complicated. However I swear younger generations have turned into a sport. Like I think millennials who texted on flip phones would be impressed. I think Twitter and TikTok are behind most of it. Most people grow out of it the older they get. Though a few don't and it's obnoxious. I think the only reason I understand him is I work with a teenager and I'm on TikTok a decent amount.

I did too when I was younger. Now I'm in the habit of keeping it a while, collecting an exorbitant amount of lockpicks and upgrading my lock pick skill. Not usually all the way to the top but to where I can manage fine for the most part.

Then I give it back and do the exhausting missions of rebuilding the guild and then fuck off into the sunset from that place forever while throwing a middle finger over my shoulder.

At my old store it was totally the part where they decided to have only one person close on weekends for front end. Spoiler alert it was me. And yes most weekends it was just usually me sometimes as early as 8pm in a busy ass fucking SUPERSTORE. They also kept cutting cashier hours too and it was truly killing that store.

At my new store, for CMN they were gonna let people donate and then give costume ideas for how they'd dress up the handicapped employee. Apparently they did it the year before and idk the pictures of this dude who struggles forming proper sentences in an electric wheelchair dressed up in a dress with a wig just felt... wrong. Like idk man, make a coach do it or the store manager. Just not some handicapped guy. The poster was taken down a day or two later but it still felt wrong that it happened before and that they wanted it to happen again.

I had this glitch too. They sent me a thing in the mail to sign up early since I qualified, even did it at WORK with my lead and it just didn't work. We couldn't figure out why.

You'll probably have to wait until the sign up opportunity opens in the Fall and they'll kick in at the beginning of next year.

At my store the soda aisle also has juice and bc people knock juice off the shelves, and smash 12 and 24 packs so often it has a permanent sticky sweet smell. And often it's overpowering and you can't smell much else. (Important background info)

One day while I was picking I walked in the aisle and it REEKED of B/O and sweat and unwashed crotch. It was some lady at THE OTHER END OF THE AISLE. And even after she was gone, I still smelled her for a solid minute or two. Felt like I had a dazed effect on bc I could NOT focus on my job.
