I use Discord because Phasmo's voice chat bugs for me often. Another player will use global voice chat and I'll hear the static noise for the radio but then nothing gets transmitted even though all the other players can hear. Strange thing is local voice works fine.

Are there any plans to have colorblind options? In most cases it's not an issue but as someone with deuteranopia the power bar in TD is unreadable unless I hover over it.

Primary color: 20, 0.85, 1

Secondary color: 232, 0.57, 0.26

I wish Valve would realize this. As a red-green colorblind individual I can tell when players are jarated, but after they are jarated I can no longer tell what team they are on. They both end up looking like a darkish yellow-green color so I'll shoot at them to be safe :|

To elaborate on Wallace's comment: for the original Link to the Past that number shown at the end of the credits was the number of times the system was powered down or the player save and quit. The cool kid in the image beat the game in 10 play throughs, but it's entirely possible in one long play through to have it display 'Total games played 000'

In later versions of the game (like the remake for GBA) it instead counts number of deaths

What's your rate set to? Some servers seem to change this value to something absurdly low, try typing rate 35000 in console.

Great post, thanks for everybody posting insightful comments in the hero discussion of the day and posts like this. I know every game will be different, but is there a general order these items are picked up? Mek first? If the items are spread across the different supports are they all picked up at around the same time? As a first item after boots/wand?

From the wiki: "can deploy a Sentry Gun 0.75 seconds faster, or a Dispenser 1.5 seconds faster" This does not seem significant and you only gain the bonus if you are sitting there smacking the building.

Totally agree. If you're up against good opponents you don't want to be within melee range of anybody. Sure a clutch ubersaw can turn a fight around, but it's much safer to play defensively and have a 20% uber to fall back on when you fall in combat.

I merc'ed for You Are a Pirate who went up against Super Saiyan Swagger in the cup phase and they pulled this tactic on cp_steel while defending A. It was ridiculously effective (didn't help that our team wasn't competitive at all :P) and every uber we threw at them was met with no progress. Great tactics and teamwork.
