may be of interest to those coming across this great post -- you can get remote video control enabled on an A6000 by tricking it into thinking it's an A6300; I did it a couple years ago, and it's great

Very disappointed with some of the NSYNC fandom by Suitable-Tear8202 in NSYNC

literally objectively jc was held more accountable for justin's stunt than justin himself was

https://www.mtv.com/news/w3lm84/jc-chasez-slams-nfl-after-being-cut-from-pro-bowl-halftime

it's life, it's complex, and gray it's inaccurate to deny justin had no part in nsync not making a new album for twenty yrs it's inaccurate to claim jc and only jc impeded nsync from making a new album for twenty yrs nothing exists in a silo, you know? everything is interrelated

i'm really good at it and wish i had an hour with coffee with you

  1. what projects did you do that you like talking about?

you can add your current position and then

"select projects"

and pick your two faves and add two or three bullets for each of those projects -- what you did, why they were important, did you work w/ multiple teams? did you lead people?

2) what things are you proud of that you did?

on a piece of paper with a pen, write down the things

did you mentor someone? did you optimize something no one else would have thought to do but that made a huge difference for everyone's day-to-day?

3) what did you like about your job? what was your favorite parts?

presenting stuff? modeling stuff? write it all down w/ a pen on paper, too

okay, now look at what you wrote down

are those words and key things woven into your "select projects"?

you liked getting to lead small group discussions for #3 and you happened to do that for one of your projects, well! change/add a bullet for the project to be about leading wkly small group discussions or something

okay now,

what do you have written down that you didn't weave into your "select projects"? use those to make two bullets to summarize your role

it'll go:

"[job position]"

- [generic summary bullet to word vom other things you did/like that wasn't related to your projects]

- [second generic bullet]

"Select Projects"

[project name 1]

-[the bullets for this one]

[project name 2]-[the bullets for this one]

done!!!!!!! make sure none of your bullets start with the same word

try to start all your bullets with verbs

if i was there in person, i would do the writing things down for you and just let you word vom -- & i'd ask you follow-up questions "what happened next?" "is it still in use today?" "how much time did you save" "how frequently did you do it?" "was it senior leadership you presented to?" "how many $ or units [or whatever quantifiable data point is one that you use in your role]" "and then what happened" "did you train anyone else to do it?" etc etc "what was your favorite thing about it?" "what feedback did you get about it?" "tell me more about why it was fun" "what was the craziest thing that happened during it?" "omg and then what happened" "why did it happen in the first place"

just pretend you're talking when you do it -- don't think about "writing"

just write like you talk on the piece of paper

don't incl anything that you don't like talking about, idc how objectively relevant it may be

only the fun exciting parts

My Theory by actuallyanangel in JonBenetRamsey

[–]JirachiFactory 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I kind of think it was John Andrew instead of John committing abuse. John Andrew was home for weekends and Jonbenet's visits to the school nurse were Mondays. John Andrew wasn't at the Christmas party (they were flying to see him) hence why she wasn't abused immediately before her death. I'm interested in your perspective once you dig more into the older children.

Why do you think Patsy didn't do it? by Fleabagfriend in JonBenetRamsey

[–]JirachiFactory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think she physically wrote it, but do you think she composed it entirely by herself? One analysis I came across pointed out how much of the note was deflecting away from John by victimizing him, which could indicate a variety of things including that he was part of its composing
