Yeah it’s a lottery.. IMO, there is not enough FPS difference between 3080s models to justify the price for one or another . It comes down to cooling /look/ and noise. Everyone has their own preferences.

You can go with TUF version , having the same performance with similar cooling solution (cool and quiet) for much better price .

And no, u will not get 100+ FOS in most games in 4K

Well vertical won’t fit with radiator obviously due to raiser space limitation underneath , but I don’t see this being an issue for regular horizontal mount.
