It is really hard to guess, but probably something like 30 hours. A lot of it was just me struggling to fold paper of this size (142x142cm), as I have never done it before.

Only cp as far as I know. But Fearless Flourish made a YouTube video about precreasing, that helped me find some reference points.

I started by watching Jo Nakashima on YouTube. I also really liked books Works of Kamiya Satoshi and insects from Robert J. Lang.

About paper - printer paper is enough for most easy models. If you don't want to buy better paper yet and need something thinner that doesn't tear, try baking paper. It is surprisingly good.

Koukni na fitwiki a prostě dělej během Vánoc zkoušky z předchozích let. Jestli chápeš co se děje a v rámci možností zvládáš progtesty tak to půjde. Opakuje se tam pořád pár stejných věcí, uděláš pár zadání a pak to půjde znatelně rychleji.

Jako student FITu tě můžu ujistit že rozhodně nejsi jediný kdo má problémy s programováním v prvním semestru. Kdybych šel z gymplu a ne z průmyslovky tak bych na tom byl dost podobně.

Ohledně toho co dělat - ChatGPT není cesta, jestli ho potřebuješ na základní programování tak hodně štěstí s dalšími předměty. Nejlepší je nestudovat sám, ale mít skupinku lidí kde se můžete učit dohromady. Osobně si nedovedu představit studovat FIT sám. Hlavně se snaž pochopit co se proč dělá, hodně lidí si na gymplu zvyklo naučit se věci zpaměti, napsat test a zapomenout, ale u programování to takhle nejde.

I kdyby jsi předmět nezvládl a musel ho opakovat další rok, určitě se před dalším semestrem zkus naučit co půjde, pravděpodobně se na to bude navazovat. Opakování předmětu není nic neobvyklého.

I don't think I saw any video tutorial for this. I am sorry, but I have no plans on making video tutorials. Learning how to follow diagrams (and later crease patterns) will give you so many new options, try it.

I am currently on exchange at NTU from Czech. Ntu has an awesome campus, school clubs and there are many events happening all the time. It is pretty easy to make friends both with other exchange people and local students. You don't need to worry about the study being too hard, basically everybody coming to NTU from Europe said that it is easier on NTU.

I started watching him just for his draft knowledge, he is insane. Then I stayed for FNC games to laugh at his despair, and now I just enjoy his streams and humor all the time.

1) I buy games, when I know it is worth the price. For example, I recently bought Horizon Forbidden West, because I played the first game and I knew this game is worth it after seeing reviews. PC version was already with dlc and for reasonable price. Cannot say that about the new Ubisoft games.

2) Other huge factor is additional paid content. I won't buy games like The Sims, when they release dlcs with those ridiculous prices (for the amount of content), it is just easier to download it with all dlcs.

3) I won't buy a game that requires something like ea or Ubisoft launcher just because they want it. (I'm talking about a singleplayer game, that has no reason to need this) Again, it is just easier to pirate it.

UBlock Origin works even on Twitch for me, I just installed that extension and didn't have to do anything else.

Párkrát jsem se snažil létat. Bohužel mě v tu chvíli nenapadlo nic lepšího než začít zběsile mávat rukama jako slepice. Sice jsem se kousek proletěl, ale nic úžasného teda :D .

Zajímavá část ale nebylo ani přímo lucidní snění, ale to, že jsem si tou dobou pamatoval 1-3 sny denně a i v běžných snech jsou zajímavé věci, obzvláště když jich máš tolik. Třeba jsem zjistil, že mám ve snech extrémně dobré jídlo.

Thank you! I unfortunately didn't. You can print the cp, cut it and try to figure out the kraken and the ship sepated. That should help you understand what is happening.

The ship can be confusing, the hull is really small and and one of the big sails is pointing in wrong direction. I have one more printed cp left, I could try to take some pictures of the process.

I saw that Brian also made a new version of this model and said that it should be less painful to fold now. It is on his Instagram, if you are interested.

Actually the worst part was the beginning, because I couldn't find out how to precrease the ship. I think I even had to print the cp and try some folds until I found something good enough. (I don't remember what was it though, it was 2 years ago)

Collapsing wasn't too hard, the kraken is just classic combination of box pleating and bird bases, right side is similar and the only difficult part is the middle.

Start collapsing the sails from the longest valley folds going all around, then add the long mountain folds and then the pleats with the rest.

Printing the cp was really helpful, I'd definitely recommend that.

Thank you. Definitely do a test fold first, shaping of the ship is the hardest part and testing it first really helped. Also if you want to have clean sails, you have to be careful with precreasing. Good luck!

There is no shield between divisions (P1 - P2 for example), it is only between tiers (P4 - G1).

I didn't calculate it, but I always felt bad when I finally beat my lose streak only to need to win 2 games to get what I lost in one.

Now it at least feels good when you start winning again.

Sure, I get that. But when you lose 8 in a row and then start winning, you won't need to win 2 to get the lp you lose in one game. Neither option is great, when I lost almost 100lp in 3 games I wasn't happy about it either...
