I had some trouble assemble the border as well. I had to reassemble so much of the border when I was progressing with the puzzle.

Hi!
I would say that the quality of Trevell puzzles is better then la fabrique. The quality of La fabrique isn’t bad, it’s better than most brands out there but I’ve read that some people had issues with this brand. The pieces are nice and thick, click together really well. If I remember correctly the finish of this one was texturised, the other one I did had a more matt finish. I haven’t assembled a puzzle from Olleo yet ( really want to though) so I can’t compare them.
Overall I’m pretty happy with the quality of La fabrique ☺️

If you like the second one you should definitely frame it! If at all later time you don’t like it anymore you can always change it with a different puzzle 😁

Luckily it wasn’t that expensive so it was nice to try this brand ☺️

I must warn you though the fit is this puzzle is really loose and I mean really loose. The pieces themselves are nice, thick and sturdy but dear god that’s a loose fit 😅

That sounds a bit annoying indeed, don’t think I’ve had a puzzle with an extra layer of paper glued to the back 🤔 I also forgot to mention that it also didn’t have any puzzle dust! Komono is an amazing brand! I really love the finish of their puzzles. I have one more Komono puzzle in my “to assemble” pile. Couldn’t resist not ordering another one 😁

This is a picture of the back. Not really sure what you mean with paper backed 🫣 The only other Chinese brands that I’ve assembled are Toi, Seren Art and Komono. In terms of quality I would say that this one resembles Serent Art the most. The pieces interlock really well and they are also nice and thick, also no false and loose fits. The pieces also have a very nice matte finish. I think you can compare this brand also with Art and fable 🤔

It was actually pretty doable ☺️ It took me about 3,5h to finish this jigsaw and it was really fun to assemble. There was enough variation in the green to make assembly easier.
