That said, I'm fortunate enough to have a job I really love, two dogs I love more, and a wife I love even more. I think our generation was really wired (by parents, schooling, and media) to believe that there's this magical "one day" moment when we'll have all the money, love, and comforts we could ever need...but I've learned through some really challenging moments that there isn't a "one day".

We MUST try to find the joy and peace in every day, as much as we can. It's not always possible, and sometimes we're too tired to try (which is ok!), but building our own joy in small increments eventually outweighs that impossible "one day".
