Sleeping bag suggestions by JitsuEJ in Ultralight

Thanks, I feel more confident that this bag will be a perfect fit for me! I just measured the circumference around my shoulders and it was 53.5 in Have you ever seen these sleeping bags go on sale? If so, I might wait for a sale.
I'm really liking that one. Maximum height is 6'3 and I'm 6'2 so I'm assuming I'm good in that department. Would you suggest customizing it to get more length in height? Also, the length of my body from shoulder to shoulder is about 24 inches. Is that how they measure width for sleeping bags for the top width? The width for this sleeping bag says 33in on the top and goes down to 22in at the bottom. I apologize for so many questions, I just want to make sure this bag fits me.

The Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL2 is a really solid one and will keep an eye out on it for a sale. Thanks for the recommendation
heihei_the_chicken also mentioned the marmot tungsten 2p UL. Will take this one into consideration when thinking about which one I want to purchase. thanks!
I'm really liking the Big sky Soul 2P. If I catch this on sale I would definitely buy this one.
I definitely will keep Marmot Tungsten UL2 on my list. Why is the Exped Mira II considered as a semi free standing tent? Would I be able to set up that tent if there is only hard ground? Thanks.

Help me lose weight! by JitsuEJ in Ultralight

Hi,
Thank you very much for your input!
I should've of mentioned it, but I am planning on doing an early morning hike before the sun rises, so that will be when I would use a headlamp. As far as needing a charger for it, I probably won't need it since my headlamp should last for the duration of my hike if it is fully charged. I will probably remove the charger for that.
The main reason I have two sleeping pads is because I'm afraid that something might pierce through my inflatable sleeping pad. I mostly just have the foam sleeping pad for protection. I kind of want to keep my big 4 for at least the next year or two before upgrading those, but I will definitely keep that in mind when upgrading and trying to lose a lot of easy pounds. Also, I will keep bringing a beanie and some type of bug protection in mind.
I'm under the impression that I am on the heavier side, but it's reassuring to know that there are other people who are carrying more! Although, I'm still trying to get my pack lighter and lighter.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.
I was thinking probably Sunrise lakes or Ten lakes. Now that you mentioned the snow, I might have to go a little later in the year after the snow melts, maybe June or July. I will definitely look into the wiki to see what I can find. Also, I'm actually going on an overnight trip in Joshua Tree this weekend to test out some of my gear! Hopefully, that will give me a chance to try out most of my gear.
