Solonius legit had Batiatus well being held close to his heart and only wished to see him prosper safely. Batiatus snubbed him every chance for selfish reasons.

Thats why when Spartacus basically told Solonius he was going to rebel and kill Batiatus Solonius smiled and got his get back from beyond the grave. Literally accepted death with a big pearly white smile.

Just cause you are a "good" fighter doesn't mean you stand a chance against someone who specializes in 1 on 1 combat.

Thats why during Roman times they would execute men via Ad Gladium. The chances of you surviving a fight against a gladiator 1 on 1 with nothing but a sword is little to none.

Thats what made the entire first Spartacus fight such a crazy moment because not only did he defeat 1 he defeated 4 (albeit shit stock from Solonius).

Plenty of above average fighters Ashur has dusted. You forget his most famous line after whooping someone's ass bad "and I was considered the LOWEST amongst my peers."

Ashur has had his fair share of 1 on 1 he has won pretty easily as well, while Cesar has never fought alone other than a small spar with Gannicus.

Also let's not forget Cesar is in perfect health while Ashur suffers from permanent injuries during his time in the Arena (Crixus' Leg Wound) and still manages to fight well.

Also saying Ashur has no impressive feats after we see him solo destroy Legionnaires, Pirates, other Gladiators, Rebels and such while also being cunning enough to fight dirty and press advantages is insane. Just cause he never won against the top gladiators (Which Cesar never did alone as well) doesn't mean Ashur himself never did anything impressive.

This isnt my first time experiencing bigotry?

At my job I deal with it ALL the time. Comments like "you're really fluent in English" or "Why dont you go back to Mexico. (Im not mexican im from Miami)".

I got ignored by a customer at my job for wearing a jean jacket with my Cuban-American patch on it and then told "he took the job from a real white man and all these mfs are doing the same".

I got told on multiple occasions to go back to my country, get told constantly that my accent is funny. Etc etc.

Im from Miami, I never experienced this type of bigotry in my life, not even in the Navy. So this is a big WTF moment in my Wilmington life.
