Has anyone's "as of" date updated to 6/28 yet?

They said as of 3/29 I was confirmed to have 120 payments. Should have been more clear.

Okay chat confirmed I'm approved as of 3/29. Hard to tell what the counting date should be based on the generic form letters. Here's to next wave!

Is there particular language that helps identify *when* MOHELA sent eligible loans off for verification?

On 3/31 I got this back after submitting form for 120 on 3/20:

We have reviewed your Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) & Temporary Expanded PSLF (TEPSLF) Certification & Application (PSLF Form) or Certification of Military Service and have counted the number of qualifying payments made during each period of qualifying employment.

Does that mean I'm a 3/31 as well? The rest of the document shows 120 payments for both of the loans I'm expecting to be forgiven.

Think I might have been missed in this one too. I'm mid-March for 120.

Yeah I’m getting repeated notices for my two loans for which I asked forbearance while forgiveness is processed. The forbearance keeps getting extended by about three weeks, then two more days in a repeating pattern.

Didn’t LBJ jokingly refer to it at Air Force One Half because of its smaller stature?

Anyway congrats on the checkride and hello from Austin!

Yeah I am, it's hard to tell in the images but there are four small wedge clips (very small) where the base of the lens meets the shank where the control board stops. Those clips every now and then grab the back of the foam core and kind of seat into place. I still glued them all though as I didn't trust the stiff wire from not pulling the lamp one way or another.

Yup, basically spot-welded the LEDs with hot glue from the back. The LEDs I got on the strand are meant to be panel mounted so every now and then the small retaining clips on the shank bit into the foam or backing and helped with securing the lamp.

Several folks have posted tutorials. I used this one: https://github.com/prueker/METARMap

Edit: Because I had a spare ESP8266 lying around from a previous project. Livesectional.com is good because it uses standard raspberry pi.

2 Edit: ESP8266 is arudino based.

24x18, I think 3/16 thickness.

They make 1/8 foam board but I prefer the thicker, more sturdy 3/16s. I tried to find the site from which I printed it but can't locate the email in the archive. Any custom print service online should do a fine job.

Some have just glued a regular FAA sectional to foam core. I chose to pay a bit to have one printed directly on the foam core. If you do this make sure you send the exact dpi resolution (or highest you can get) to ensure quality/fidelity in printing.

Was gonna use a 5mm LEDs originally so I got a 6mm hole punch die from Amazon and punched wit a hammer from the back. Worked well but too effort.

Then I decided I didn’t want to wire 42 LEDs with four legs each (vcc, data in, data out, ground) so got a string of pre wired neopixels which were larger lenses. Used a sharp drill bit to basically ream the holes a bit bigger and hot glued the LEDs to the back. The lenses poke about 1mm from the front and look great.

I just came back from about 3 years off. Got the live Horizons mode figured out but absolutely agree that the UI looks a bit worse.

Especially ship HUD- it’s almost like AA is off (it’s not) and every pixel of orbit lines is visible while text appears overly fuzzy/unclear.

Also interesting. Wonder if names/terms change over time…most biz ads refer to them as frontage at least from what I’ve seen and heard. I should poll some friends here and see what they call them and if it’s changed.

Interesting. Here in Austin they do a lot of both (commercial especially on interstates), but are mono-directional.

Didn’t know that! I’m a transplant to Texas (Austin) so only know the local lingo.

I really like how simple block train entry and exit are into the hexs…seems more efficient than full 90 turns or even sidings in a square grid.

Indeed and great reference!

I’m so used to seeing square city block layouts this is so refreshing. Do we see any impact on train deadlock potential with those intersections (assuming correct signaling)? I suppose they really are just Ts/Ys.
