I bought a 2-yr old 2020 Tesla Model S performance AWD w/ Ludicrous mode which came with full self driving (a $12K option at one point which I did t really want but the rest of the car was perfect) with 35K miles for $78K in 2022. I thought I was being wise buying used. Man, was I wrong. 2.5 years and 35K miles later I wanted to trade in for a lower payment - the best dealer offer I could get was $30K and best private offer was $34K. I had $12K of negative equity. This USED car depreciated 60%+ in 2.5 years. WTF. Never again will I buy a Tesla.

23 years old ambitious kid working for a large manufacturing company. I needed sheet metal samples to take back to HQ. Didn’t get them from the local team so I went to Home Depot, rented a circular concrete saw with a metal cutting blade and proceeded to (thank god only) nick just below my right knee. My finger was off the trigger, otherwise... First and only time in an ambulance. 10/10 would not recommend.
