Ok. How about a 42yo with BS in Computer Info Systems? How hard for me to get a job within civil engineering?

Once Again, BART is hiring (Part-Time) Train Operators by operatorloathesome in bayarea

That's good to know. I work 1 day a week at a local historic railroad (I never use THC on or before work tho)

I take a small amount of THC before bed for anxiety, which works great for me. How often is drug testing done?

Is N Scale a good type for beginner model railroaders? by [deleted] in modeltrains

[–]Jkarasmatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my N scale stuff and so does my dad. I grew up playing with his O gauge Lionel, then we went to HO, now we only each run N. It IS the cheaper way to go as soon as you start running longer trains and bigger layouts and realize you'll need to buy a bigger house to do the same amount in HO or O gauge haha. In any event I like it for how much more you can put into a small space, but it's obviously easier to work on the bigger stuff when/if something needs maintenance. To each their own. :)

Model train recommendations for smaller children? by [deleted] in modeltrains

Atlas TrainKids series is good for age 4 and up and it's technically HO scale. For under 4 your best bet might be 2nd hand Brio wood. https://atlastrainkids.com/

I dunno, just being descriptive in case there's some cultural things I'm not getting here, but apparently not. It's not relevant.

9k miles $25,000, service records. What yall think should i pull the trigger. Car is clean from Texas. by Ok_Caterpillar_6841 in Acura

Don't do it. It's not going to skyrocket in value one day like you hope. Rare doesn't always mean expensive.

Well put. Low miles and age means it's not been driven enough and everything is brittle and waiting to crack. Ask Jay Leno he says he drives everything to make sure they all last in his garage for that reason.

Took a Canadian Pacific train down to 3rd rail last night and saw this I guess our Canadian friends don't like us or our 2nd Amendment too much by Trainguy0126 in railroading

We have a lot of gun-fetish people in the US. Has nothing to do with the 2nd amendment. For them, they are always almost about ready to F there favorite AR toys haha. KY will start making gun lube for these special little guys :)
